Hello, welcome to Las Vegas Bariatrics. My name is Dr. Bernie Hanna. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Surgeons, a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the Nevada State Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society, the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. I also serve as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.

At Las Vegas Bariatrics we provide two options for surgical weight loss Lap Band, in which a band is placed around the top of the stomach that reduces the amount of food that can be held, and Roux en Y Gastric Bypass, in which the stomach is made smaller using a band then is directly connected to the mid lower intestine.
